A hospital and three peripheral health centers rooted in the territory, but also health educators and volunteers who reach out to villages promoting prevention and services dedicated to women.
An average of 124 thousand women are received each year at Lacor Hospital, 35 thousand of them are mothers (data 2016-2021).
With a periodic donation you can stand by the women who arrive at Lacor Hospital every day seeking care.
With your help, the hospital doors can open, knowing that they can offer all of them the most appropriate care and treatment.
In Uganda, for every 100,000 births, 343 mothers do not survive. Moms who are often very young, forced to give birth in extreme conditions, without the slightest medical assistance.

For less than 66 cents a day, 20 euros a month, you guarantee women in Northern Uganda care and assistance at the clinics in Lacor’s obstetric and gynecological departments.
Caring for women with a periodic donation means caring for mothers and their babies every day-often it means saving an entire family.

Periodic giving is a choice, a moral commitment, not a constraint. If for any reason you are unable to continue, you may suspend or cancel your periodic donation by notifying the Corti Foundation and your bank.
What you will receive
The women treated, the lives saved will be the greatest satisfaction and joy you will receive from your daily support. We will write to you to tell you their stories and update you on what we are able to do thanks to your donation. You will also receive “News from Lacor” magazine three times a year and our electronic newsletter every month.
